Abstract
This research's objective is to explore the ecological role of these spiders in agricultural environments, particularly how they may contribute to pest control in banana crops. The title reflects the key elements of the study the geographical location (Sohag Governorate, Egypt), and the subject of the survey (spiders belonging to the order Araneae). Dar El Salam and Al-Balina the purpose of this study was to survey the spider species associated during two consecutive years, 2023-2024. where population density and frequency of occurrence are high relative to the overall number of individuals Philodromidae, Lycosidae, Theridiidae and Eutichuridae.  The population density and frequency of family members belonging to the Scytodidae, Salticidae, Thomisidae, Gnaphosidae, Araneidae, Linyphiidae and Filistatidae were determined to be moderate. whereas the families of other spiders had the lowest recorded numbers, densities, and frequency of occurrence Dictynidae, Uloboridae, Sparassidae, Pholcidae, Dysderidae, and Titanoecidae, there were seventeen spider families in total.
