Abstract

Present test reported successful infection by 8eauveria. Bassiana against
the whitefly, Bemis. Tabaei. The fungus tested for its pathogenicity to the third-
ins tar nymphs, and tested also against one-and "-day-old eggs. Also the tests proved
a reduction in total protein, fat, and a: -arnylase enzyme in the treated insects. Eggs
were found to be irnmune :o infecl:cn, but mortality of hatching nymphs reached 80-
90'%, The rate 01 hatching nymphs infection depended on the age Of which the eggs
were treated. Mortality of nymphs recorded on the third day after treatment and LCso
was 1.12 x 103 and LCoo was 3 8 x 103 spores/mi.
